2.1.3 实现的功能
采用多任务、多用户实时操作系统方式，操作员可在屏幕上观察不同的任务视窗信息，并在视窗之间进行切换。
采用技术的视窗图形用户界面，形象地监控大厦机电设备，有关的图形为动态显示，将采集到的模拟量/数字量等数据在图形相应位置中实时显示运行状况。
收集并分析采样数据，系统自动生成图表，包括历史数据、进行数据传输。
2.2 分站控制设备和其它辅助设备
在太原电信调度大楼的Excel5000系统中，分站选用中央总线C-BUS上的分站，直接连在总线上的控制器采用XL系列的直接数字控制器(DDC)，这些控制器都是中国国家标准规定的DCP-1智能分站，本文仅介绍XL500、XL20和其它的辅助设备。
2.2.1 XL500大型区域控制器(128点)
XL500采用插拔功能模块组合而成，通常用于泠冻站、变配电室等监察点比较多而集中的地方，这种型号的控制器使用时较为灵活，可以根据控制对象不同类型的控制点进行不同的组合。
XL500控制器内装有16位 Intel80C188的电脑芯片，其电脑模块均有128K的RAM、512K的OS EPROM 以及先进的128/256K块擦存储器flash Memory作为控制器数字库，供用户现场编程调试之用。为便于存取信息和控制器的数据，还可选用Excel x581AH 操作员终端，让XL500提供一个操作员接口，可进行问答式人机
VARKAUS, Finland, Feb. 02, 2006 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) announced today it has won a significant contract worth $1.2 million to install a new Experion® Process Knowledge System (PKS) into UPM-Kymmene’s pulp mill in Tervasaari, Finland and to upgrade existing Alcont systems to Experion technology. A major benefit of the project is that UPM-Kymmene will be able to consolidate its control operations into a single central control room, allowing them to enhance the efficiency of process control at the plant. “A key reason for choosing Honeywell was that we have worked successfully with the company over a number of years and its process control solutions generate significant benefits to our operational efficiency,” states Harri Kinnunen, automation engineer at UPM’s mills at Tervasaari. “Honeywell’s lifecycle management services will enable us to upgrade our existing Honeywell systems with modern technology and continue to utilise our existing hardware and applications.
