The new "Tivo" series of encoder and controller developed by Baumer Ivo using CFP enclosures incorporate incremental and absolute encoders in carbon-reinforced polyamide enclosures. The enclosure can suppress electromagnetic interference, therefore, the new encoders meet EMC Standard Din 6000-6-2. The CFP housing is grounded by the connector and the coupling shrapnel. To reduce the size of the encoder, CFP is the perfect choice for shell materials. The encoder has a diameter of about 58 mm and a length of only 34.5 mm or 41.5 mm, depending on the installation option. It can be easily and conveniently installed in a narrow space. The encoder mounted in the CFP housing can be quickly and directly mounted on a shaft with a diameter of 14 mm. Through-hole type is installed through clamping ring, and blind-hole type (non-through hole type) is installed through screw. The customer can fit the Torque pin into the groove of the rubber buffer or form a torque bracket by mounting the spring. Buffer type torque bracket can be provided if necessary. The cable output of the Tangential encoder is further reduced in size, and both axial and radial cable outputs are realized. The traditional PG cable sealing tube has been replaced by a new integrated strain relief device. The shell adopts die-casting, the surface is even and smooth, and does not adhere to dust, grease and other pollutants. The encoders meet Ip 54 to Ip 64 standards, with ambient temperatures ranging from something 20 to + 85 ° C and optional temperatures of + 120 ° C. The CFP encoder has the advantages of light weight (only 150g) and high mechanical properties. In addition, the "lightweight" encoders can withstand up to 200g of shock and 10g of vibration without any adverse effect on operation. Light weight is also an advantage under high-speed loads, such as during motor acceleration. High-end plastics are lighter than aluminum, but equal in strength and heat resistance. The harsh industrial environment is not a problem at all. Relative humidity 95% (no condensation) . The new encoder with CFP housing is suitable for speeds up to 6000rpm. It can also be an incremental encoder with Directional Signal Measurement (reverse U, V, W, three pairs of Poles) .
