The new DDR4 memory interface in an UltraScale device can provide more than 1 tb / s of storage bandwidth, the system can meet the requirements of high-speed processing of massive data stream and massive memory for the new generation of advanced system design in important application fields such as video imaging and processing, traffic management and high-performance computing. Upgrading from DDR3 to DDR4 reduces the application's read latency by 30% and significantly reduces power consumption at the same data rate.
